Be a Part of Something Big with Care4Japan

The devastating earthquake followed by a destructive tsunami that rocked Japan on March 11th has dominated the news for the past few weeks.

The natural disaster has left many people wondering if a disaster such as this one could strike closer to home and furthermore, what if they can do anything to help.

A group of Twitter users were left wondering the same things. Also brought to their attention was the fact that some were turning to Twitter to post bigotry inspired comments.

After a lengthy and detailed discussion on Twitter, the idea for care4japan.org was born and put into action.

As a result, a website called Care4Japan.org has been established.

The website provides information on the disaster that occurred in Japan, its aftermath and the impact left on Japanese society.

Though the website itself is not accepting donations, a list of major reputable charities accepting donations has been provided. To make a donation, visitors to the site simply click a link and are brought directly to their charity of choice.

Here at Ozio Media, we have joined the effort and donated content to the Care4Japan website to lend our heartfelt support. We will also be participating in the various Twitter chats.

Care4Japan is working to stop bigotry in its tracks by establishing a positive line of communication and sending a message to the world that people care and want to help. Part of their efforts includes a Tweetathon to be held from April 2nd – 9th.

The objective of the Tweetathon is to raise awareness, provide a safe place to make donations and inspire people to take action by offering their thoughts, opinions, ideas and words of encouragement.

Taking part in the Tweetathon is easy. Simply send tweets to hashtag #care4japan.

A Facebook page has been established as well to pass the message along to as many people as possible. Help spread the word by liking http://www.facebook.com/pages/Care4Japan/173430076041400.

Prizes will be given to those who donate. Sponsors are always welcome and greatly appreciated. For more information, visit http://www.care4japan.org/our-sponsors.

Ozio Media is always looking for charitable causes to donate our services to. If you would like to suggest a charity or are currently working for a non-profit organization, please feel free to contact us at http://www.oziomedia.com/freequote.php with further details about your project.
